The Itaú app for computers gives personal and business account holders secure, practical access to manage their accounts. It runs in a protected environment that shields your computer from malicious programs, and it lets you access your account with one click from a desktop shortcut. Transactions are validated without typing codes, and you can check your balance and statement. The app also offers investments, currency exchange, mobile top-ups, and other benefits.
The Mac version is available for Intel and Apple Silicon chips and requires macOS 11 (Big Sur) or later, about 400 MB of disk space, and 4 GB of RAM. To install it, download the version that matches your processor, open the file from the Finder's Downloads folder, and drag the Itaú icon to Applications or your Desktop to create a shortcut. A beta version is also available for users who want improvements and feature updates first.
Because the app runs in a protected environment, its gray background appears while it is open. You need to minimize that window to use other programs or use ALT+TAB to switch between them.
