About
Jaikoz is a music tagger application for Apple macOS, Windows and Linux that can automatically fix your music collection. It matches songs using the MusicBrainz and Discogs online databases, and it also uses Acoustid, which identifies a song from the actual audio so it can find a match even when there is no existing metadata. Jaikoz also offers powerful spreadsheet-like editing. The current release supports Flac, Aiff, Wav, Dsf, Mp4, M4a, Ogg, Mp3 and Wma files.
Jaikoz's listed features include automatic song matching, high quality artwork, a Delete Duplicates task, special support for Classical music, and folder and file renaming. It also includes a fully configurable AutoCorrecter, advanced genre and field support, Unicode and hidden character handling, support for different ID3 versions and multiple languages, and the ability to find missing tracks from albums.
The latest release is Jaikoz 12.6 Elastica, released on April 14th 2026. The website notes that SongKong is an alternative that is fully automated and also available for Linux servers and NAS devices.
