About
JetBrains Toolbox App is a free app for managing your JetBrains IDEs. You can install, update, and roll back or downgrade them, and update plugins together with the IDE. Updates can be downloaded as a patch or set of patches instead of a full package, and they run in the background while you keep coding. Before you update, you can read about the latest features and bug fixes in your IDE.
The app lets you maintain multiple versions of the same tool side by side and try Early Access Program (EAP) builds for JetBrains IDEs, as well as Google's Android Studio releases and Canary builds. Your projects are listed with your favorites pinned to the top, and you can find them with the Search field and open them in the correct IDE with a single click.
Toolbox App also lets you install, update, and manage JetBrains IDEs on remote machines, working across Linux, Windows, and macOS with built-in remote development support. A browser extension for Google Chrome or Firefox lets you clone and open GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket repositories directly from your browser.
