JSON Viewer is a native Mac app for working with JSON datasets. It uses syntax highlighting to make data easier to read, and you can navigate large datasets by expanding and collapsing nodes. You can prettify or minify JSON in a single click, and invalid syntax is flagged with automatic error highlighting.
JSON Viewer is free, with no subscription or in-app purchases. The download is under 5 MB, and it works offline because everything is processed on your Mac. The app doesn't track or mine your data. It is built with Swift and Cocoa, supports dark mode, and follows your system appearance.
JSON Viewer 2.0.0 requires macOS 26 or later. On macOS 15 or earlier, the website recommends v1.
