kDrive is a secure cloud storage app built for storing and sharing your files. It can hold up to 106 TB of data, so you can free up space on your devices and access your photos, videos and documents wherever you are. Files are encrypted and backed up in two data centers in Switzerland, and each file is replicated across three physical storage devices to help keep the service running. You can also import your content from your current cloud, such as Dropbox or OneDrive, and restore older versions of your documents at any time.
The app supports collaboration on Office documents. You can work on files online with OnlyOffice or with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and share and receive files directly through drop boxes. AI helps you find content quickly, including text within your images, work documents and PDF files.
kDrive is developed and hosted exclusively in Switzerland and is designed to comply with the GDPR and the nFADP. The website states that it does not resell or analyse your data, and that customer service is available in Switzerland by phone and email.
