About
KeeperDB is a multi-protocol database client for engineers, DBAs, and data teams, positioned as a secure replacement for legacy tools like DBeaver and pgAdmin. It connects to PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, Amazon Redshift, SQLite, MongoDB, and DynamoDB from one interface, with native drivers bundled, and users can log in with Touch ID or Windows Hello instead of a stored password. The app includes a full SQL workspace with a query editor, notebook, paginated data grid, and ER diagrams, plus a real-time performance monitor that shows active sessions and blocking chains and lets users terminate a session. Database credentials can be pulled from Keeper Secrets Manager at connection time, so they are not stored in plaintext config files.
KeeperAI, the built-in agent, can answer questions in plain language, write and run queries, explain existing queries, and build charts from live results. Read-only queries run automatically, while any write statement is shown for confirmation before it executes. Administrators can choose the LLM provider so prompts and schema stay within the user's network. KeeperDB is available as a free desktop download and is also included as a governed connection for KeeperPAM customers, where sessions are recorded in an audit trail.
