About
KeyClu watches which app is in focus and shows its shortcuts on demand. Press ⌘ twice and hold to see the list. You can hide unwanted or already-known shortcuts, bookmark ones you want to notice, adjust the layout, font size, and length, and keep a persistent panel on screen. You can also filter and highlight the shortcut you're looking for, pause the app when you don't need it, and export the current app's shortcuts as a Markdown file.
KeyClu can also display macOS keyboard shortcuts, SKHD hotkeys, macOS trackpad gestures, and Jitouch2 gestures. You can register your own shortcuts manually, use ready-made shortcut sets for apps that miss one, or browse and import from KeyClu Extensions. KeyClu is private by design: it has no accounts, tracking, or ads, and your settings and shortcuts never leave your Mac. It supports English, German, Chinese, and Japanese.
KeyClu runs on macOS 11 Big Sur or later, on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. Accessibility permission is required because KeyClu reads the menu items of the app you're using. Install it with Homebrew (`brew install --cask keyclu`) or by downloading the latest .dmg from GitHub Releases. Note that KeyClu may not display every shortcut an application responds to, and it may have difficulty with menus represented by icons or images.
