About
Keyguard is a third-party client for the Bitwarden platform and KeePass (KDBX) files. It autofills your logins, supports passkeys, works offline, and runs a Watchtower that finds leaked and reused passwords and other issues. It can be used with any Bitwarden installation, and it is not associated with the Bitwarden project or Bitwarden, Inc.
Keyguard offers a Material You user interface with Light and Dark themes, a fast search, and a Watchtower that flags items with pwned passwords, vulnerable accounts, reused passwords, inactive two-factor authentication or passkeys, insecure websites, and duplicate, incomplete, or expiring items. It also supports multiple accounts, unlocking the vault with a password, biometrics, or a YubiKey, and exporting individual or organization items. Some features, marked as requiring a premium license, include adding and modifying items, uploading attachments, and using Bitwarden Sends.
Keyguard is available for Android (including Wear OS), Linux, Windows, and macOS, and it includes a built-in CLI and MCP server. It also provides SSH and GPG agent support on supported platforms and a generator for passwords, SSH and GPG keys, and email forwarders. The site notes that there is currently no Keyguard browser extension or iOS app.
