About
KeyStore Explorer is an open source GUI replacement for the Java command-line utilities keytool and jarsigner. It presents their functionality, and more, through an intuitive graphical interface, so developers can focus on their work without struggling with command-line tools. Tasks such as key pair generation and code signing are designed to be quick and simple.
You can use KeyStore Explorer to create and navigate KeyStores. Their contents can be created, modified, imported, and exported using a few simple dialogs. It can digitally sign Java applications, JWTs (JSON Web Tokens), certificates, and CRLs, and it supports a variety of KeyStore, key pair, private key, and certificate formats, converting between them as needed.
KeyStore Explorer also includes basic CA features. You can create your own CA certificate and use it to sign certificates and CRLs, and a wide range of certificate extensions is supported. Because it is written in Java, it runs on any machine with a Java runtime installed, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
