Kickstart is a Mac app for indie app developers that brings the business around an app into one place. It covers live keyword rankings across the iPhone, iPad, and Mac App Stores, Apple Ads performance, global pricing, reviews, analytics and revenue, marketing assets, and TestFlight, along with a daily roadmap that breaks launch and maintenance work into small, practical tasks. The app is free to download, and advanced growth features are available as an optional subscription.
The app's tools are organized around specific decisions. Keyword tracking shows where your app ranks, how rankings move over 30 days, which apps hold the top positions, and how difficult a term may be to target. A Price Parity Calculator compares territories, exchange rates, and local purchasing power to help set intentional prices by market. Review Intelligence summarizes feedback into pros, cons, sentiment, and recurring themes, and supports translating and replying to reviews. Other tools include App Promo Videos for App Store previews and social clips, TestFlight management for builds, testers, feedback, and crashes, and an Apple Ads workspace for campaign and keyword performance.
Kickstart states that projects, service credentials, and built-in AI stay under the user's control. Projects remain on the Mac and in iCloud, the app does not track feature usage or collect general app-usage analytics, and Apple's Foundation Models run on the Mac or through Private Cloud Compute.
