About
LaunchBar lets you access and control your Mac from a single keyboard shortcut. Its adaptive app launcher and document browser let you open applications, documents, bookmarks, and more by typing short abbreviations, and you can manage events and reminders and access your contacts without leaving the keyboard.
LaunchBar also includes a file manager for browsing the file system, querying file metadata, and copying, moving, or renaming files and folders. Its search tool performs desktop or web searches with instant feedback. Additional tools include a clipboard history, snippet manager, jukebox, calculator, script runner, and info browser. You can extend it with custom script-based actions written in AppleScript, JavaScript, Ruby, Python, PHP, and other languages.
LaunchBar offers a set of built-in appearance themes and a growing set of indexing rules, such as Finder Tags, Emoji, Reminders, and Safari Reading List. Usage Statistics show which features you use most and which you haven't explored yet. LaunchBar can be used for free after a 30-day trial, though it occasionally invites you to take a short break.
