Lemonade Server brings local AI to apps and agents. It is free to use, private by design, and transparent, with zero telemetry and data that stays where you put it. Installation equips your computer with an AI runtime, GUI, CLI, and API endpoints, and Lemonade is available on macOS along with other platforms.

Apps can use Lemonade for chat, vision, image, speech, transcription, and embeddings. It works with the OpenAI API standard, so it integrates with many existing apps, and it can route requests to servers and cloud APIs on demand. An Embeddable SDK is also available for adding native support or an embedded copy of Lemonade to your own app.

Lemonade is open source and built in the open with a community that welcomes builders. Its roadmap is steered by open working groups, and the project ships a new release every week. Users can join the Discord community or read the contribution guide to get involved.
