About
License Store is a software license manager for Mac that keeps your license keys, license files, and receipts together in one place. Each app in your library holds its registered name and email address, invoices and other attachments, websites and download links, notes, and expiration dates. This makes it easier to find what you need when you reinstall an app, renew a license, or set up a new Mac.
You add apps by dragging them in from Finder or scanning your installed apps, which fills in the name, icon, and version. You then add the license key yourself or import existing records from CSV or JSON. Reminders can be set 1, 7, 14, or 30 days before a license or its update plan expires, and the app tracks the two separately. Your library can sync across Macs through iCloud, supports automatic backups, and can be exported as CSV, JSON, or the License Store format.
License Store is a one-time purchase of $7.99 per major version, with no subscription, and includes a 30-day free trial. It requires macOS 26 or newer and is also available on the Mac App Store. The app contains no analytics or telemetry, and its library is stored on your Mac with optional iCloud sync. It does not add its own encryption layer, so the developer recommends enabling FileVault.
