About
LinguaX is a macOS menu bar utility for mouse enhancement, push-to-talk voice input, and automatic input-source switching. It works with any USB or Bluetooth mouse without a driver install. You can tune smooth scrolling (step size, speed gain, and inertia duration), add per-app overrides, and map clicks, long-presses, and directional drags to actions such as app launch, system controls, media, or custom scripts. Side buttons can be mapped too.
Push-to-talk lets you hold a mouse side button to start macOS Dictation by holding the Fn/Globe key, then release it to stop, so your hands never leave the mouse. It works with macOS Dictation, Wispr Flow, superwhisper, and any push-to-talk app.
Input source rules can be set by app and by website domain, so the right language is ready when your context changes, with a default input source used when no rule matches. LinguaX is a native Swift app of about 10MB that runs on macOS 13+ on Apple Silicon and Intel. It requires no account, and rules are stored locally. Pricing is a 30-day free trial with no credit card, followed by a one-time $9.9 purchase with no subscription.
