About
Live Home 3D lets you create floor plans from scratch or trace your own, then switch to a 3D view to see how the space would look. Inside the 3D mode, you can work with furniture and decorations, paint walls, add plants, and use the Roof Assistant's 12 customizable roof templates. A library of 2,400 3D models and 2,100 materials is available by drag and drop, and you can import your own FBX, 3DS, COLLADA, or OBJ objects or download models from Trimble 3D Warehouse. Lighting can be controlled and tested by setting your home's geolocation to see real light at different times of day.
For visuals, the app offers AI rendering with style presets and resolutions up to 8K UHD (7680×4320). It also provides unlimited offline ray-tracing renders powered by AMD Radeon ProRender or Cycles, performed on your device at no charge. Snapshots, 360° panoramas, and 3D walkthrough videos can be exported, and floor plans can be exported as PDF, JPEG, BMP, TIFF, or PNG. 3D models can be exported in several formats, including OBJ, FBX, glTF, and USDZ.
The Pro version adds terrain editing for garden and yard layouts, an advanced Material Editor, a Light Editor, and higher-resolution output for commercial use. Live Home 3D is available as a free version and requires macOS 13 or higher.
