About
LocalizApp is a Mac app for managing localizable strings in iOS and macOS projects. It supports Localizable strings, .strings, .stringsdict, and .xcstrings files, letting you find and manage all your strings in one centralized place with an overview across every language. A one-click Smart Detection feature identifies missing strings across your project so you can fill gaps and ensure complete coverage for all supported languages.
For translation, LocalizApp integrates with Google Translate, DeepL, and ChatGPT. You can translate individual strings on the fly or bulk translate an entire project with a single click, choosing the translation service you prefer. The app is built by an app developer for developers, with ongoing updates shaped by community feedback and free support.
What's new
All release notes• AI control with MCP (Premium): LocalizApp now includes an MCP server, so Claude Desktop, Claude Code and other MCP clients can read, search, edit and translate the strings of the project you have open. Changes stay in the app until you save. Install the Claude Desktop extension with one click from Settings → MCP. Works with Xcode string catalogs and Android strings.xml. • Ready for Xcode 27.2: projects saved in the new JSON project format (project.xcproj) open just like before. • Fixed a crash that could happen when opening a project from Finder.
