About
Lolgato is a macOS menu bar app that enhances control over Elgato lights, offering features beyond the standard Elgato Control Center software. It complements that software rather than replacing it, though you may still need the official software for firmware updates and certain settings. Lolgato requires macOS 14 or later.
Lolgato can automatically turn lights on and off based on camera activity and turn them off when you lock your Mac. It can also sync light temperature with macOS Night Shift, so lights become warmer when Night Shift is active and return to neutral daylight (6500K) when it is disabled. Global keyboard shortcuts let you toggle lights and Night Shift sync, and increase or decrease the brightness and temperature of all lights.
The app discovers Elgato lights on your network automatically, the same way Elgato Control Center does. If discovery doesn't find your devices, you can add them manually by IP address in the Devices tab of the settings window. Lolgato is designed specifically for Elgato lights, such as the Elgato Key Light. It is an independent project and is not affiliated with Elgato or Corsair Gaming, Inc.
