About
Luna Display turns your iPad into a wireless second display for your Mac or PC, extending your workspace onto a touchable device. You can also use another Mac as a second display, or use Headless Mode to set up your Mac or iPad as the main display for a Mac mini or Mac Pro. Latency depends on your setup: it is 7-25ms over WiFi and 1-4ms over wired connections such as Thunderbolt, Ethernet, or USB cables.
To get started, plug the Luna hardware into your computer; it is available for USB-C and HDMI. Then launch the free Luna apps on your primary and secondary devices. Luna connects your devices automatically over your existing WiFi network or USB cable. The website recommends plugging Luna directly into your Mac or PC rather than using an adapter, and notes that some employer-provided computers may have security settings that block the connection.
Luna is sold as a one-time purchase with no subscriptions. It costs $89.99 and comes in two versions: USB-C for Macs and modern PCs, and HDMI for older PC models. Luna also integrates with Astropad Studio, which turns an iPad into a professional graphics tablet for Mac.
