About
Lyn for macOS is a lightweight, fast media browser and viewer designed for photographers, graphic artists and web designers. It has a versatile, good-looking interface, with geotagging, image editing, and a complete solution for sharing photographs. Lyn supports popular image formats, including standard formats, HDR and RAW, plus any other format supported by macOS. It also includes a movie player for camera recordings and a simple PDF viewer.
The editing inspector lets you adjust exposure, color temperature, brightness, contrast, highlights and shadows. You can change individual curves and levels, alter colors selectively, convert color photos to black and white, apply a sepia tone, or add a vignette border or film grain. Edits are non-destructive: changes are recorded in special attributes and merged during export, so the original image is not altered.
You can share images on Flickr, Dropbox, and SmugMug, and explore existing Aperture, iPhoto, Photos and Lightroom libraries. Geotag photos and edit locations with drag and drop, or browse and compare images and start a slideshow with music in full screen. Lyn includes a fully featured 15-day free trial and requires macOS High Sierra (10.13.4) or later.
