About
Maintenance is an operating system maintenance and cleaning utility for macOS. It can perform tasks such as rebuilding databases, deleting application, font, and system caches, and more. It provides a clean interface to many tasks that would otherwise require complex commands typed into a command-line interface.
The developer, Titanium Software, has devoted considerable time since 2003 to developing these applications so that all Mac users can use them freely. Users who want to help can make a donation.
Each major macOS version has its own specific version of Maintenance, and the correct one should be used. The current release, Maintenance 3.6.2, requires a Mac with Apple silicon running macOS Golden Gate 27. Older versions are available for earlier macOS releases, but Titanium Software has discontinued developing them and will no longer update them.
