About
Manico is a tool for macOS designed to launch and switch apps quickly. By default, pressing Option + a number key launches or switches to the matching app, so you don't have to cycle through apps with Command+Tab or search for them in the Dock. It is aimed at keyboard-focused users, and over time the habit can build muscle memory that makes using your Mac more efficient.
Manico supports three modes. Dock mode maps the apps in your Dock. Switcher mode maps your currently open apps. Custom mode lets you choose the apps you want to launch and switch to, with a different shortcut for each. Preferences include customizing the appearance, choosing where the launch bar appears, showing or hiding the menu bar icon, and a Silent mode that keeps Manico from appearing or interrupting in certain apps. A Usage feature shows charts of how many times you open each app per day.
Manico offers a 14-day free trial. After the trial, you need to purchase a license for unlimited use. A license can be activated on up to three devices for a single user.
