MarkInside is a Mac app for creating, editing, and previewing content written in LaTeX Math, Mermaid, Markdown, Mind Map, and HTML. It offers a side-by-side editor with a live preview, so changes to your code or settings appear immediately. You can resize the preview area and change the canvas background color to better match where the image will be used.
MarkInside treats the exported image as the source file: no separate *.markinside file is created, and to edit an image's content you simply open it in MarkInside. The app generates standard PNG, SVG, and PDF files that can be used anywhere without a special renderer. Its block-based editor organizes content into code blocks, which can be used to build reusable templates, and it supports MCP Server so agents can help with coding your images.
