About
Notebook is the desktop (offline) version of Mathcha, a math editor for writing and sharing mathematics. The website says it is built for your privacy. Mathcha reports over 100k registered users and 450k+ documents created.
The Mathcha editor offers a large set of math symbols and layouts. You can insert symbols with a Suggestion Box without knowing LaTeX, by name, category, or drawing. Drawing tools let you create graphs or diagrams and export them to SVG or TikZ (LaTeX). Formulas can be saved as an image or vector (SVG), documents can be printed as PDF, and LaTeX can be imported and exported for math mode.
Editing is sped up with automatic bracket matching and sizing, custom bracket heights, shortcuts for common font styles and symbols, and standard editing actions such as copy, paste, undo, and insert with selection.
