The Maxon App manages the installation, licensing, upgrading, and updating of your Maxon products. It verifies the license status for your purchased products and displays any trials you may have available. Maxon products now require the Maxon App for entitling and managing licenses, and the app is listed for macOS alongside Windows and Linux.
The Maxon App is fully compatible with MyMaxon Organizational Accounts, so users can access Teams Licenses and choose which license type to activate. Subscription customers are encouraged to download the all-hosts Redshift installer through the Maxon App. Note that Maxon App 2027.0.x is not compatible with non-unified RLM licenses.
Many Maxon applications may not work as expected without the Maxon App installed, so it serves as the central point for getting and maintaining your Maxon software.
