About
MediaHuman Audio Converter is a free application for macOS, Windows and Linux. On the Mac, it converts music in formats such as MP3, AAC, WMA and OGG, as well as lossless formats including FLAC, Apple Lossless, AIFF and WAV (up to 32-bit). You can add multiple files at once, choose an output format, and start a batch conversion. The app can also convert directly between lossless formats, such as FLAC to Apple Lossless, without an intermediate step.
The app offers several options for organizing your library. It can split lossless tracks using a CUE sheet, generate filenames from ID3 tags, keep your folder structure during conversion, and export converted files to iTunes/Music.app, optionally into a specific playlist. It can also extract audio from video, search for disk covers when a file has ID3 tags but no cover art, and apply effects such as volume normalization, fade in, fade out and silence trimming.
MediaHuman Audio Converter runs on Mac with Intel, AMD or Apple silicon (M1 through M6) processors, and supports macOS 10.13 (High Sierra) and later. It includes a Dark theme that is selected automatically when it is enabled on the system. The current version is 2.4, updated on October 26, 2026.
