About
MEGA CMD is a command line tool for macOS that works with your MEGA account and data, letting you access MEGA services through commands. It offers two ways to work: an interactive shell that lets you navigate your MEGA account as if it were a local folder, and scriptable, non-interactive commands that you can run from your Mac shell, such as bash, or from within your own scripts and programs.
MEGA CMD includes live encrypted syncing, which lets you access and work with your data across different locations and devices while it remains protected by MEGA's zero-knowledge encryption. You can also configure automatic periodic backups of a local folder to keep historical snapshots of your files. For users who want other ways to reach their files, MEGA CMD supports WebDAV clients and can be set up as an FTP service.
The macOS package is available for Macs with Intel chips running macOS Catalina 10.15 or later, and for Macs with M1 or later chips (Apple Silicon) running macOS Big Sur 11 or later.
