About

Base is a SQLite database editor for macOS, aimed at everyone from beginners to experienced users. Its schema inspector lets you view table schemas, column types, constraints, and relationships at a glance, and its visual table editor lets you create and modify tables and define constraints without writing CREATE or ALTER statements.

For working with data, Base offers a simple data browser where you can browse, filter, and edit table contents directly in a table format. Its SQL editor provides autocomplete and syntax highlighting, lets you store common queries as reusable snippets, and shows query results instantly. Base can import data from CSV and SQL dump files and export results to SQL, delimited text, JSON, and Excel formats.

Base is available as a free version with limited features, and the full version requires a one-off purchase. It requires macOS 15 Sequoia or newer.
