About
Visual Studio Code Insiders is the early-access build of VS Code for Mac. It receives new builds every day with features, fixes, and recent changes, so you can try them as soon as they land and help shape what's next in VS Code. Because it has the most recent changes, it may occasionally break and is aimed at early adopters.
Insiders installs side by side with the Stable build, so you can use either one. On macOS, it requires macOS 12.0 or later and is available as a Universal .dmg, as separate Intel Chip or Apple Silicon .dmg files, or as CLI downloads for Intel Chip or Apple Silicon.
By downloading and using Visual Studio Code Insiders, you agree to the license terms and privacy statement.
