About
The MiniZinc IDE is a development environment for MiniZinc, a high-level constraint modelling language for easily expressing and solving discrete optimisation problems. Use it to write and run models, visualise search and solutions, profile performance, and more.
MiniZinc models use readable, intuitive logical constructs with full type safety, and the same model can run on a variety of solver technologies without being locked into one solver. A large library of pre-defined constraints makes complex relationships simpler to model. Comprehensive documentation is available, including a tutorial, several courses, the user manual, and library documentation.
You can try the included examples, such as Map colouring, N Queens, Rectangle packing, and Sudoku, or write your own model. MiniZinc is developed at Monash University with support from OPTIMA.
