About
Mitti is a Mac app for video cue playback at live events, exhibitions, film festivals, broadcast, and other shows where the next clip has to be ready on time. Its cue-first playlists let each cue pause, loop, fade, jump, hold, or hand off to the next moment as rehearsed. Operators can use a cue inspector to confirm media details, set trim points, configure subtitles, adjust geometry, route audio, and add notes, and the app runs natively on Apple Silicon and Intel Macs with Metal rendering.
Mitti supports a wide range of media, including videos, still images, PDFs, audio files, web pages, NDI and Syphon servers, app windows, and cameras. Outputs include displays, Blackmagic Design hardware, NDI, Syphon, and multi-screen setups with warping and blending controls. Playback can be triggered from MIDI, OSC, DMX over Art-Net, timecode, ATEM switchers, NDI receivers, Stream Deck, or Companion, and it can render subtitles, captions, elapsed or remaining time, and matte or overlay information on outputs. Mitti also includes waveform views, per-cue audio routing, and audio normalization.
Mitti is available as a free download and demo for macOS 10.15 through macOS 27, with rental and perpetual licenses. The website says it has been used for nearly a decade on productions of all sizes, and that support is direct and practical, with a goal of replying within 24 hours.
