Mixed In Key is a Mac app for analyzing your music collection. It detects key, tempo, energy levels, and cue points, and it uses the Camelot Wheel to help you mix harmonically. Its Energy Level ratings show how danceable each track is, which helps you build DJ sets with the right energy. The Grand Piano and built-in piano let you check the key results by ear.

The app also helps you manage your library. You can edit ID3 tags one track or a thousand at a time, clean up junk in your tags, and store Mixed In Key results inside your music files, including automatic Key and Energy Level tags in the comments field. Its Advanced Filtering lets you sort by key, tempo, energy level, and genre, and you can organize tracks into folders and nested playlists with emojis.

Mixed In Key can export up to 8 automatic cue points per track for Traktor, Serato, and rekordbox, and the results can be used in Virtual DJ, Ableton Live, and other DJ software. It supports MP3, WAV, AIFF, Apple Lossless, OGG, and FLAC files, and it includes a dark mode option.
