About
Mochi lets you take notes and make flashcards using Markdown, then study them with spaced repetition, using smart review schedules that help you remember more for longer. Your data is stored safely on your device and syncs when you're online. Notes can be formatted with headings, lists, code, and more, and they can be linked both ways to build a connected web of ideas. Tags, filters, saved views, and search help you organize and find what you need.
Mochi also supports language learning. You can study vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation with flashcards, built-in dictionaries, translation, and text-to-speech. Built-in dictionaries let you look up words in multiple languages without leaving your notes, and you can hear your cards spoken aloud. Image search helps you find pictures for words or phrases, and AI-generated text can create example sentences or study prompts.
Mochi is available for Mac (with Intel or Apple Silicon chips), as well as Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android. It's free to start, with no sign-up required. A Pro plan at $5 per month adds features such as syncing across devices and publishing decks.
