About
Mole is a Mac app for cleaning tens of gigabytes of junk and stale AI data, uninstalling and updating apps, analyzing disk usage, maintaining your system, and tracking live system stats. Its tools cover file and AI data cleanup, app uninstall and update checks, system maintenance, a whole-disk treemap for finding large files and folders, and live CPU, memory, GPU, disk, network, temperature, and fan metrics. It requires macOS 14 or later and is sold as a one-time $19 purchase with a 14-day refund window. According to the site, scans and cleanup stay on your Mac and files are never uploaded.
The app is organized around a set of tools presented as parts of a solar system: Clean for files, caches, and logs; AI Cleanup for old sessions and tools from AI assistants; Software for updates and uninstalls; Optimize for routine macOS maintenance; Analyze for disk usage; and Status for live system monitoring. Actions such as deleting files are reviewed before they run, system folders are view-only, and items already in the Trash are the only ones that ask before permanent deletion.
The site also lists testimonials and a note that Mole has an open-source command-line version, and it states that 850 Mac apps have been tested for compatibility.
