About
Monet is a native desktop app for browsing, searching, and driving coding agent sessions. Conversations with agents like Claude Code and Codex are often scattered across terminals, projects, and session logs. Monet brings them into one place, where every agent session can be viewed, searched, and run in parallel. Sessions are labeled by engine, and a workspace shows multiple sessions side by side with their status, output, and token usage. Permission requests, questions, and retries can be handled directly on each session card.
Monet works with existing history. Claude Code and Codex project and session data is discovered automatically and can be browsed without installing either CLI. Installing and signing in to a CLI lets you start, resume, and continue sessions from Monet. Original session files are read-only, and Monet's added data, such as titles, tags, and favorites, is stored separately in ~/.monet/. Local session features run offline with zero telemetry and no Monet account system.
Monet can be installed with Homebrew (`brew install --cask monet`) or downloaded from Releases. On macOS 11 or later with Apple Silicon, all features are available. Windows supports the core features, while system-level integrations such as widgets, the menu bar, and sleep wake are macOS-only.
