Money Manager Ex is free, open-source personal finance software that helps you organize your finances and track where, when, and to whom your money goes. It also gives you a view of your overall financial worth. The app includes accounts with multiple currencies, transactions that you can search, filter, and sort, payees and categories, scheduled transactions, and budgets that you can compare against actual spending using specific or custom reports. It also supports stocks and shares, fixed assets that count toward your total worth, and file attachments such as invoices, receipts, and contracts. Builds are provided for Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android, and the app offers QIF and CSV import, QIF, CSV, and HTML export, and more than 30 interface translations.

The software is free to download, with no ads or charges, and anyone can use, change, and share it. Your financial data stays under your control, with AES256 encryption and multi-cipher support. If you prefer cloud storage, you can host your database on a cloud platform of your choice.
