About
Moom is a Mac app for managing windows. Hovering over a window's green, red, or yellow button opens a pop-up palette that you can customize with up to 61 actions, including folders, layouts, and grids. The Snap feature moves and zooms windows to areas of the screen you define, and any saved layout can supply drop zone targets.
Moom can save layouts of windows in specific apps or of any windows, with the "any window" option applying to the most recently used windows. Chains combine two or more actions into one step or run as loops. The Hover feature moves and resizes the window under the mouse while you hold modifier keys, and you can resize from any corner. The Keyboard features let you move, resize, center, and use the on-screen grid without a mouse.
You can organize actions into folders nested as deeply as you like, rename every action except menu separators, and import or export your setups. Moom can run as a Dock app, a menu bar icon, an invisible background app, or a hybrid of the menu bar and Dock. It requires macOS 10.13 High Sierra or newer, and a free trial is available. The full version costs $15, and existing users can upgrade for $8.
