The MOTU M-Series Installer for Mac (version 2.0.2) installs the latest drivers and software for all M-Series interfaces, including the M2, M4, and M6. It supports both Apple silicon and Intel-based Macs running macOS 12 through macOS 26. The latest Mac release includes a fix for a crash that occurred when using the low-latency driver on a MacBook Neo.

The website also offers the M-Series Universal Firmware Updater for Mac (version 2026.2), which supports the M2, M4, and M6, along with a user guide covering those models. Some downloads are available only to registered users and require logging in to access.

For Windows users, the site lists separate installer and firmware updater releases for Windows 11. These are not part of the Mac app itself.
