About
Thunderbird Daily is the channel where development and testing begin, and where new features are developed. The website describes it as the least stable of Thunderbird's channels, ahead of Beta, Extended Support Release, and Release. The download page lists a macOS 64-bit (.dmg) installer among its options.
Because Daily is expected to be the least stable channel, the website advises users to back up important data regularly. It also notes that Daily may not work with all add-ons.
The website recommends the Release version for most users. It suggests using Beta only if you want to test a pre-release version and report bugs.
