About
Mullvad VPN is a privacy-focused VPN that creates a private connection to the internet by encrypting your traffic. According to the website, your ISP cannot see your activity, and nobody else can use your IP address to track you. The app is compatible with macOS, as well as Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android.
Mullvad VPN is described as offering no logging and anonymous accounts. It also circumvents censorship and combats AI-guided traffic analysis. The service costs €5 per month.
The website states that a VPN is not enough for privacy on its own, so it recommends combining Mullvad VPN with Mullvad Browser. Mullvad Browser is developed by the Tor Project, is open source, and is free of charge, whether or not you use Mullvad VPN.
