About
Mythic is an open-source macOS game launcher that lets you play Windows games through a custom implementation of Apple's Game Porting Toolkit. It also supports multiple storefronts. Mythic brings your whole game library into one place, including macOS games, Windows games, Epic games, manually downloaded games, and more. You can import games from existing launchers and local installations, and Mythic organises and prepares them for launching.
Mythic is designed to reduce time spent on technical setup. The game settings view lets you adjust launch arguments and verify file integrity with a few clicks. You can download, update, and install games from multiple storefronts. Mythic can also create multiple containerised instances of Windows within the app, and you can choose to keep some games isolated from others. An onboarding experience guides you through setting up the application.
Mythic is currently an alpha release (v0.6.0) and requires macOS 14 or later. The project has a Discord community that you can join.
