Users can create and modify tables, views, functions/procedures, and events with object designers, without writing complex SQL. The Grid View supports adding, modifying, and deleting records with sorting and searching, and foreign key relationships can populate dropdown lists. The SQL Builder writes statements from chosen table operations, and code completion suggests database objects and SQL keywords in the SQL Editor.

Navicat supports secure SSH sessions through SSH Tunneling, with password or public/private key authentication, and HTTP Tunneling for bypassing ISP restrictions on direct server connections.
