About
Navicat for PostgreSQL is an easy-to-use database management tool designed to simplify the complexities of handling PostgreSQL servers. It supports tasks ranging from managing large datasets and writing simple queries to developing complex data models and conducting data analysis. It provides the tools and insights needed for a smooth GUI experience, and its Object Designer lets you create and modify Tables, Views, Functions, and Triggers without writing complex SQL.
For everyday work, the Grid View supports adding, modifying, and deleting records with spreadsheet-like sorting and searching, and foreign key relationships can automatically create dropdown lists. The SQL Builder writes SQL statements for you based on the operations you choose, and code completion helps you build queries in the SQL Editor. The Tree/Object Filter narrows the list of displayed database objects as you type.
Navicat for PostgreSQL also supports secure connections through SSH Tunneling with password or public/private key authentication, as well as HTTP Tunneling. It works with Amazon RDS, Aurora, and Redshift, Microsoft Azure Database for PostgreSQL, Google Cloud SQL for PostgreSQL, and Fujitsu Enterprise Postgres. With Navicat Cloud, you can sync connection settings and queries to the cloud. The site lists support for macOS 14 Sonoma through macOS 27 Golden Gate.
