About
Network Radar is a Mac app for scanning and monitoring your network. Start with a scan to see the devices on your network, from your Mac and iPad to printers, servers, and smart home devices. You can scan your current network without configuration or create a scan with your own IP range. For each device, the app shows details such as IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, MAC addresses, vendors, DNS and mDNS names, NetBIOS details, open ports, and response times, and notes and an activity log keep context close at hand.
Monitoring rules can notify you when something changes. You can get an email when a server goes offline, play a sound when a device appears, or combine conditions with actions such as notifications, sounds, emails, or host images. A ping history and graph show response times over time, with minimum, average, and maximum values, and you can choose how often to ping and how many pings to send.
Network Radar also includes built-in tools for troubleshooting: Ping, Traceroute, Port Scan (with an optional port range), Lookup & Whois, and Bonjour service browsing. From a device, you can open SSH or Telnet, send Wake on LAN, or sleep, restart, or shut down a compatible Mac, including over the internet with remote access configured. Devices can be organized in folders or smart folders, and results can be exported as XML, CSV, TXT, or PDF. The app is a native Mac interface with Dark Mode and support for Apple silicon.
