About
NoSQL Workbench for Amazon DynamoDB is a cross-platform, client-side GUI application for modern database development and operations. It is available for Windows, macOS, and Linux. It includes DynamoDB local, so you can test tables and indexes before committing your data model to the cloud.
With the data modeler, you can start a new project from scratch or use a sample project. You can design tables and Global Secondary Indexes, define attributes, and configure sample data. You can also visualize access patterns as real DynamoDB operations, such as PutItem, UpdateItem, and Query, and run them against the sample data to validate them. After validation, you can commit the model to DynamoDB local or your AWS account. You can also import and export data models, and organize them into projects.
The operation builder provides a graphical interface for developing and testing queries. You can use it to view, explore, and query live datasets, and it supports projection and condition expressions. It generates sample code in multiple languages. You can also clone tables between AWS accounts and Regions, or between DynamoDB local and an Amazon DynamoDB account.
