NostalgiApp

About

NostalgiApp brings eXoDOS, eXoWin3x, eXoWin9x, eXoScummVM, consoles, arcade and classic computers into one native Mac library, and it sets up every emulator for you. Its Quick Start lets you browse all 7,600+ eXoDOS games after a 40 MB catalogue download, without the 649 GB collection. Each game downloads the first time you play it. The app supports over 70 platforms and can hold your Steam, GOG, Epic, Mac App Store and Windows games alongside them.

NostalgiApp picks the right emulator for each game. The emulators the eXo collections need are built in, and others are a one-click download. For consoles, it finds RetroArch or a standalone emulator you have installed and selects the right core. Your library can be browsed in Grid, List, Coverflow, Shelf or Timeline views, and includes Museum Mode, which shows box art, screenshots, manuals, soundtracks and developer history for each game. Seven themes and optional living backgrounds are also available.

The app also includes a full-screen, controller-driven mode for the living room, Soundtrack Mode, and play tracking that shows play counts and total playtime. NostalgiApp is a one-time purchase of €29.99 with no subscription, and it offers a 14-day free trial that requires no card. A free beta for Windows is also available.
