About
NotchNudge shows how fast you're using your AI coding tool limits and when you'll run out. It works with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and Grok. Your MacBook's notch shows your session and weekly usage and tells you whether you're on track or will hit the limit before it resets. The notch also works as a status light: it shows when an agent is working, pulses orange when an agent needs you, and shows a green check with the run time when an agent is done. You can Allow or Deny commands from the notch when Claude Code or Codex asks to run something. NotchNudge never approves anything for you, and nothing runs unless you click. On an external display or an older Mac, a floating pill at the top centre does the same job.
NotchNudge stays on your Mac. It has no account, no analytics, and no server of its own beyond the license check. Your agents talk to it only on 127.0.0.1 with a secret token, and it needs just one Keychain prompt to read Claude Code's login for usage. Each tool's sign-in goes only to that tool's own server.
NotchNudge is a one-time payment, with a launch price of $9.99 (regularly $14.99). It requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later.
