About
Ocelli is a Mac app that records and transcribes your meetings and types what you say into any app. Recording is controlled from the notch, or from a panel floating at the top of the screen on Macs without a notch. When you stop, the note is saved as Markdown in a folder you choose. Decisions and action items appear at the top, with the full transcript one click away.
Dictation uses the same transcription. Hold fn or another shortcut, talk, and let go, and your words appear as text with punctuation in any app, even offline. Transcription runs on your Mac, and audio is never uploaded.
Ocelli's AI note writing receives the transcript text and the questions you ask, and with Ollama that stays on your Mac too. Live access lets tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or any MCP client read a call while it runs, and it is off until you turn it on. Ocelli is free to start, with no card required.
