About
OnionShare is an open-source tool that lets you securely and anonymously share files, host websites, and chat with friends using the Tor network. For Mac users, it is available as a desktop download, alongside versions for Windows and Linux.
Beyond sharing files, OnionShare lets you quickly host an onion site, chat, and create a private dropdown. Mobile apps for Android and iOS are also available, developed in collaboration with Guardian Project and The Calyx Institute.
OnionShare also comes preinstalled in operating systems such as Qubes OS, Tails, and ParrotOS.
