OnlySwitch is a menu bar app for macOS that puts everyday controls, such as hiding desktop icons, changing appearance, keeping the Mac awake, and managing the notch, into one customizable place. You can add, remove, and reorder switches and Shortcuts, assign keyboard shortcuts to them, or place controls on the desktop as widgets. It can be installed with Homebrew or by downloading the DMG.
The app also includes a system monitor, an AI Agent, and support for macOS Shortcuts. Additional features listed on the website include Tailscale controls, Xcode Cleaner for DerivedData and caches, App Uninstaller for removing an app and its related files, Dock Preview for window thumbnails, and an optional Desktop Pet that can control music playback. Aphrodite lets you describe a mini app in natural language and generate, run, edit, and share it, and it requires macOS 26 or later.
To control OnlySwitch from an iPhone or iPad, you can install the OnlyRemote app from the App Store and pair it through the iOS Remote settings in OnlySwitch. The website notes that automatic updating is broken in version 2.5.6 and earlier, so users on those versions should update manually or reinstall with Homebrew.
