About
OpenClip is a free, open source floating action bar for macOS and an alternative to PopClip. Select some text and choose what to do with it. Actions include grammar fixes, summaries, and translations, and the result appears in place, so you don't have to switch to a browser tab. The site also lists inline math, spell check, and QR codes among its features.
Everything is one shortcut away. Press ⌥⌘C, type a few letters, and find any action, extension, or quick calculation. The Clip Store has more than 100 extensions. If one you need isn't there, you can write your own in JavaScript, AppleScript, or shell.
OpenClip is licensed under AGPL-3.0 and has no account, paywall, or telemetry. You can download it from the website or install it with `brew install openclip`. The site links to a quick start guide and a privacy and permissions page.
